I joined SRI Federal Credit Union in 1996, when I went to work for SRI International, the renowned employee-owned think-tank in Silicon Valley. SRIFCU occupies a nice office in the front building. Its CEO Steve Bowles has built a terrific, personal team, readily available to answer questions and help out. When I lost my debit card in a broken ATM overseas, SRIFCU expressed me a new card immediately. When I let my checking account run too low, SRIFCU covered the cost until I could replace the money. Its online services are great and of course, its loan rates are the lowest and its interest on accounts the highest. Totally cool! My partner is now joining on Transfer Day.
